Accommodation in the old hunting lodge „Ensku húsin við Langá“, The English lodge. Rooms with and without private bathroom. Emphasis on the history of the house and its old and friendly atmosphere. Also accommodation in a renovated preserved house, 1 km from the English lodge ("Lambalækur"). 

Convenient location for sightseeing in Snæfellsnes and Borgarfjörður area. Great walks in the neighbourhood.

How to find?              
Ensku húsin is by road no. 533

From Borgarnes: as you leave village Borgarnes, direction Akureyri on road no. 1 then you come to a traffic circle. Take the last exit into road no 54 in direction of Stykkishólmur.  After about 6 km you need to turn left into road no. 533 and after some 200m you find Ensku Húsin on your left.
 
From Stykkishólmur: you leave Stykkishólmur on road no. 58, heading for Grundafjörður and stay on it until its end and then turn right into road no. 54 and drive for about 6 km when you need to turn left into Vatnaleið road (no 56). After about 16 km you come to its end and then you need to turn left into road no 54.  Continue on road no 54 (heading to Borgarnes) for about 60 km before you need to turn right into road no. 533 and after some 200m you find Ensku Húsin on your left. As you leave village Borgarnes, direction Akureyri on road no. 1 then you come to a traffic circle.
