4 x 5 pers. cottages (2 bedrooms, bunk beds). Hot pots. Also sleeping bag accommodation in a separate house with cooking facilities and WC/showers. 40 pers. dining room and a spacious living room.

 

Camping site with WC facilities. Horse riding trips on Löngufjörur beach. Fishing permits (salmon/trout) can be arranged. Interesting walking trails in the vicinity e.g. on the old volcano crater Eldborg.

 

Open: All year.

 

Farm animals: Horses, cows, sheep and a dog.

How to find?              
Snorrastaðir is by road no. 54
 
From Borgarnes: as you leave village Borgarnes, direction Akureyri on road no. 1 then you come to a traffic circle. Take the last exit into road no 54 in direction of Stykkishólmur.  After about 35 km you need to turn left and continue for about 1 km before arriving at Snorrastaðir farm.
 
From Stykkishólmur: you leave Stykkishólmur on road no. 58, heading for Grundafjörður and stay on it until its end and then turn right into road no. 54 and drive for about 6 km when you need to turn left into Vatnaleið road (no 56). After about 16 km you come to its end and then you need to turn left into road no 54.  Continue on road no 54 (heading to Borgarnes) for about 30 km before you need to turn right and continue for about 1 km before arriving at Snorrastaðir farm.
