Farm guesthouse Brekkulækur offers single, double and triple rooms with and without private facilities in both the old and the new part of an old farmhouse from 1938. The farm has been owned by the same family for the past 100 years.
  
Activities: Riding and hiking tours with emphasis on Icelandic country life and nature. In all programs other farms are visit, neighbours or attended festivities, a dance, or a ceremony, etc., in order to enable our guests to get to know Icelanders.

How to find?              
Brekkulækur is by road no. 704
 
From Borgarnes: as you leave village Borgarnes, direction Akureyri on road no. 1 then you come to a traffic circle. Take the exit into road no 1 in direction of Akureyri. Stay on road no. 1 for about 110 km before turning right into road no. 704.  Continue for 8 km on road no. 704 and you come to Brekkulækur farm.
 
From Akureyri: you leave Akureyri on road no. 1, direction Reykjavík.  Stay on road no 1 for about 200 km (passing through the villages Varmhlíð and Blönduós), before turning left into road no. 704 after you cross the bridge.  Continue for 8 km on road no. 704 and you come to Brekkulækur farm.
