How to find?
Geirshlíð is by road no. 515
From Reykjavík: Leave Reykjavík heading towards Akureyri on main ring road no. 1. About 15 km after you leave Reykjavík you come to the village of Mosfellsbær and when you have passed it you need to continue some 20 km before you come to the Hvalfjörður tunnel (road toll ISK 1000,-) and after you have passed the tunnel you need to continue about 35 km before turning right into Borgarfjarðarbraut (road no. 50). Continue on road no. 50 for about 30 km before turning right into Flókadalsvegur (road no 515, 2nd turn into this road) and after about 3 km you find Geirshlíð on your right.
From Borgarnes: Leaving Borgarnes heading towards Reykjavík on main ring road no. 1. As you leave Borgarnes you cross a bridge and right after the bridge you turn left into Borgarfjarðarbraut (road no. 50). Continue on road no. 50 for about 30 km before turning right into Flókadalsvegur (road no 515, 2nd turn into this road) and after about 3 km you find Geirshlíð on your right.
