Hofsstaðir is a nice farmhouse in the center of Skagafjörður with a magnificent view. Excellent walking conditions are in the vicinity and many places of interest are close by. A short distance is to all public service and activities in Skagafjörður. Good location for day trips around the fjord and north Iceland. 

Small restaurants can be found in the nearest vicinity (500m), and at Sveitasetrið Guesthouse, where they focus on local food from Skagafjordur region.

The farm Hofsstaðir is located in Skagafjörður fjord by road no. 76. 


From Akureyri: Leave Akureyri heading to Varmahlíð on road no. 1. Stay on for 86 km. Turn right into road no. 76 to Siglufjördur, drive for about 18 km. On the right side you will find the farm Hofsstaðir. 

From Varmahlíð:
Leave Varmahlíð heading to Akureyri on road no. 1. Stay on for around 4 km. Turn left into road no. 76 to Siglufjördur, drive for about 18 km. On the right side you will find the farm Hofsstaðir.
