6 x 6 pers. cottages (2 bedrooms) 1 x 8 pers. cottage (3 bedrooms). 2 x 9 pers. cottage (3 bedrooms) and 1 x 12 pers. cottage (4 bedrooms). Also 2 x 3 pers. cottages (double bottom bunk bed with single top bunk and a sofa bed). TV and radio in all the cottages. All cottages have hot pots. Minimum stay during summer is 2 nights.

 

Beautiful location by the sea in Fagravík, just outside of Akureyri. Sea angling from rocky shore free of charge. Birdlife and interesting walks. Ideal place for sightseeing in the North and skiing holidays in winter.

Sílastaðir is 500 m from road 1.

How to find?              
Sílastaðir is by road no. 1
 
From Akureyri: Leave Akureyri on road no. 1, heading for Varmahlíð.  After only about 5 km you find Sílastaðir cottages on your right.
 
From Varmahlíð: Leave Varmahlíð heading to Akureyri on road no. 1.  After about 80 km (passing over Öxnardalsheiði heath) you find Sílastaðir cottages on your left.
