How to get there? 
Ártún is by road no. 83 
From Akureyri: Leave Akureyri heading to Mývatn on road no. 1. Stay on for 16 km. Turn left into road number 83. Stay on for about 13 km. On the left side you will find the farm Ártún. 

From Mývatn (Reykjahlíð): Leave Mývatn heading to Akureyri on road no. 1. Stay on for around 70 km. Turn right into road number 83. Stay on for about 13 km. On the left side you will find the farm Ártún.
