Two well equipped cottages located in a peaceful place in Vopnafjörður. Perfect place to enjoy beautiful scenery and Icelandic tranquility with a big front deck and a grill. One of the houses also has a hot
tub on the front deck. Each cottage has accommodation for 4-6 people. 
 
A guesthouse and 2 cottages 500 m from the farm Síreksstaðir. 7 x dbl rooms with shared bathroom in the guesthouse, dining room, kitchen and barbeque. Both cottages are for 4 people (32m2) with one bedroom (double bed and bunk bed) and sofa bed in the living room. Large veranda with barbeque.
 
Marked hiking paths in Smjörvatnsheiði and Hofsborgartungu. Lake fishing in the area (salmon and trout). Burstafell museum is 8 kmaway with a Café open, during summers.

How to find?         
Síreksstaðir is by road no. 919 
 
From Egilsstaðir through Háreksstaðaleið: Take road no. 1 through the valley of Jökuldalur and by Háreksstaðir until you come to a crossroad to Vopnafjörður. Turn right onto road no. 85 and drive for 40 minutes until you reach the Vopnafjörður village. Drive through the village and turn right onto road no. 920. Drive for 15minutes until you see the farm Teigur then turn left on road 919. Continue driving for 4 km, crossing Hofsá river, until you arrive at Síreksstadir.
 
From Egilsstaðir crossing eastern Hellisheiði: Take road no. 1 crossing the river Jökulsá á Dal, and turn right onto road no. 917 Jökulsárhlíð. Drive over Hellisheiði and continue driving until you arrive at the Hofsá river crossroad. Turn left on road no. 919 and keep driving until you arrive at Síreksstaðir.
 
From Þórshöfn through Bakkafjörður fjord: Take road no. 85 until you arrive to the town of Vopnafjörður. Drive through the town heading southwest. Turn right onto road no. 85 at the crossroad and keep driving until you hit the crossroad at the farm Teigur. Turn left onto road no. 919 and drive for 4 km until you arrive at Sírkesstaðir.
