How to find?
Skjöldólfsstaðir is located by road no. 1. 

From Reykjahlíð village (by Lake Mývatn): Leave Reykjahlið on road no. 1 heading for Egilsstaðir. Stay on road no. 1 for about 114 km and then you will find Skjöldólfsstaðir on your left.

From Egilsstaðir: Leave Egilsstaðir on road no. 1, direction Akureyri/Lake Mývatn. Stay on road no. 1 for 50 km and then you will find Skjöldólfsstaðir on your right.
