Kríunes by Elliðavatn is by road no. 410
From Keflavík International airport:
From Keflavík International airport: Leave the terminal heading for Reykjavík. After only 1 km you arrive at a traffic circle where you turn towards Reykjavík into the Reykjanesbraut (road no. 41). After about 40 km you arrive in the city Hafnarfjörður where you need to turn right at an intersection in order to keep going on the Reykjarnesbraut about 10 km more. Then you turn right into Breiðholtsbraut (road no 413), stay on there for about 2,5 km before you turn left at an intersection into Vatnsendahvarf. Then you turn right to Vatnsendavegur. Then you need to turn left into Breiðahvarf and soon right into Funahvarf, and then again left into Fornaahvarf, and final turn right into Kríunesveg where you find Kríunes. From City hall in Reykjavík center: Turn to the street Suðurgata (along a graveyard) and turn left into it and soon you will come to a traffic circle and you need to take the last exit into Hringbraut. Drive along Hringbraut for about 2 km continue straight as it changes name to Miklabraut (road no. 49) and continue for about 4 km, when you need to turn right into Reykjanesbraut (road no. 41). Continue for about 2 km and then turn left onto Breiðholtsbraut. Stay on there for about 1,5 km before you turn right at an intersection into Vatnsendahvarf. Then you turn right to Vatnsendavegur. From Selfoss: You leave Selfoss crossing the bridge heading on the main road no. 1 towards Reykjavík. After about 45 km you arrive at the outskirt of Reykjavík, by a small lake and a traffic circle where you take the last exit into Breiðholtsbraut (road no 413). Continue there for about 1 km before turning left at an intersection into Vatnsendahvarf. Then you turn right to Vatnsendavegur. Then you need to turn left into Breiðahvarf and soon right into Funahvarf, and then again left into Fornaahvarf, and final turn right into Kríunesveg where you find Kríunes.
