Nýpugarðar is located 33 km west of Höfn and 45 km east of Jökulsarlón (glacier lagoon). We offer 5 dbl rooms sharing bathrooms and kitchen. Beautiful glacier view from the guesthouse where you can see 4 outlet glaciers.

Variety of walking trails nearby and this area is a metropolis of bird species in summer. About 4 km away is the domestic petting zoo at Hólmur where both the young and the old can have a wonderful time visiting.

10 km away is the pick-up point for snowmobile or super jeep tours on Vatnajökull the biggest glacier in Europe, and 45 km away is the picture scenic Glacier lagoon(Jökulsárlón) where you can take a wonderful boat cruise.

How to find?
Nýpugarðar is by road 9826 

From Höfn: Drive about 28 km drive from Höfn towards Kirkjubæjarklaustur. Turn left towards Borg, drive 3,5 km and you will reach Nýpugarðar.

From Jökulsárlón: Drive about 47 km drive from Jökulsárlón, glacier lagoon, towards Höfn. Turn right towards Borg, drive 3,5 km and you will reach Nýpugarðar.
