Trout fishing and horse riding in the neighbourhood. Special and interesting walks in Holtsárgljúfur canyon. Goose hunting. Flight to Vestmannaeyjar from Bakki (2 km). Popular place for birdwatchers.

How to find?              
Ásólfsskáli is by road no. 246
 
From Vík village: Leave Vík heading to Reykjavík on road no. 1.  After about 50 km you need to turn right into road no. 246.  After about 2 km you see Ásólfsskáli cottages on your right.
 
From Hvolsvöllur village: Leave Hvolsvöllur heading for Vík village on road no. 1.  After about 30 km you need to turn left into road no. 246 (notice: 2nd exit into road no. 246).  After about 2 km you see Ásólfsskáli cottages on your right.
