Cottage in the heart of the south with 2 bedrooms – one double room and one room with a 3 pers. bunk bed, also a spacious sleeping loft. Well equipped kitchen and a living room with a TV and radio. Nice patio with a barbeque.

 

Ideal location for those travelling the south. Nice hiking routes on the mountain Vörðufell which is located close by, north to the cottage. Guests are welcome to visit the farm animals and go horse-back riding, if hosts are available.
 
Vorsabær 2 offers their guests to visit the farm and get to know the farmer´s work or to take part in them. It is ideal to rent the cottage for a few days and experience the country life in the surroundings of the nature and the animals. The viev from the cottage is breathtaking, looking east the famous volcano Hekla is dominating.
 
Vorsabær 2 is a well known horsebreeding farm and apart from the horses there are a few cattle as well as sheep, goats and a few colourful hens.
 
Guests can go for short horse riding tours and there are also specialized children tours. Although the horses are perfectly calm the tours always start indoor in a riding arena to be absolutely sure that everyone gets a horse which suits his skills. For more experienced riders we can offer longer riding tours.
