Bjarg is an old farm in the town of Borgarnes. The old farmhouse which formerly housed sheep, horses and chicken has been renovated as a guesthouse.
 
Accommodation in a 4 pers. studio apartment with a privat kitchen and bathroom facilities (cat.III). Another separate space with one double and two 4 pers. rooms, with shared cooking and WC/shower facilities (cat. I).
 
Bjarg is a quiet place with a beautiful view and many nice walking tracks. Convenient location for those going by bus and for sightseeing in West Iceland.

How to find?              
Bjarg in Borgarnes is by road no. 1 (in the outskirt of Borgarnes village).
 
When arriving in Borgarnes from Reykjavík: when you arrive in Borgarnes village from Reykjavík you cross a bridge just before enterning the village. Soon after the bridge you come to an intersection and you should take the right turn (contintue on road no. 1).  Take a right turn at the 3rd street, Bjarg street (aprox 1 km) and at the end of this street you find the accommodation Bjarg.
 
When arriving in Borgarnes from Akureyri/Stykkishólmur: when you arrive in Borgarnes village from the north (Akureyri) or the west (Stykkishólmur) then you come to a traffic circle. You should take the exit into the village (into road no. 1) and take a left turn at the 3rd street, Bjarg street (aprox. 1 km) and at the end of this street you find the accommodation Bjarg.
