General information about the farms

Are the farms easy to find?
Most of the farms have good signs on the roads and are marked on detailed maps. However we advise all travellers to buy good maps (e.g. 1:500 000) and to go over the route before the journey. If lost do not hesitate to call the farms and ask for directions.

Are any of the farms reachable by bus?
Most parts of the country can be reached by bus, although the buses usually only stop at the main roads. That means that some of the farms are not within walking distance of the bus stops.
For information about the bus routes see:   www.trex.is       http://www.sbk.is/       www.re.is      http://bsi.is/

Yes there are parking spaces nearby all of our farms. If in any doubt just ask the farmers where it is allowed to park and beware not to park within the grazing area of the farm animals.
