The volcano has been inactive for several weeks now and no signs of it starting up again.
Everything has returned to normal at our farms and safe to travel.

Hi there
I just wanted to say that we really enjoyed our stay in Steinsstaðir - the views were amazing, the accommodation was very comfortable and the dinner was great. The lady's fish soup was the best we tasted on the whole trip! Iceland is a beautiful country with very friendly people and I am sure we will be back.

We had a really great and special holiday! I am totally in love with Iceland ;-) We have seen beautiful Aurora's, a very impressive volcano from up close (SuperJeep tour), got hold up by police, have seen the most impressive scenery, stayed at lovely farmhouses, met great and friendly people, so yes: we had a great time!
