As you made all the reservations for our tour in Iceland, we now have to congratulate you for the result.
All farms or accommodations where we slept were well and good. All times we have been received friendly.
In most of the places, where possible, we took dinner at night. This was not a bad decision, the quality of the meals we had can be called very good, and at some places even delicious.
The conclusion: thanks to you (and your colleagues) and members of Icelandic Farm Holidays. We made a beautiful three week journey through a wonderful country. If we ever come back to Iceland we will certainly again choose for IFH. Also to potential Iceland-travellers we will recommend IFH.

I just wanted to tell you, on behalf of us all, that our vacation in Iceland was a wonderful experience, surely to repeat in the future. We enjoyed nature in its primordial beauty, it felt so pleasant to live it so personally and closely, with few people around and only a minimal, and respectful, human attempt to turn it into a touristic attraction. Accomodations were all very good, my daughter liked them a lot, also because she had few chances to "ride" horses, which made her very happy. The people we met were always very nice. We were also lucky because the wheather was nice and sunny most of the time, it only rained once. We all thank you so much for your assistance and hope to contact you again (I wish I could see aurora borealis).

I would like to express my gratitude to Icelandic Farm Holidays staff and to all the owners of the farms I was staying at. That was my second trip to Iceland and I am very happy about my choice of IFH since it had several great advantages comparing it with the usual hotel stays.
The farm owners were always very friendly and communicative. That gave me a unique opportunity to talk to the natives and find out more than one can get from the books or Internet. It gives you a feeling of the country if you want. I also used several opportunities to dine with the owners at their farms which was always a very good choice not only because of the excellent food but, as already mentioned before, because of the unique opportunity to socialize with Icelanders. The locations of all of the farms and country hotels are not only amazingly picturesque but also close enough to many places of interest and to each other making it a difficult task to arrange a way between two consecutive farms to visit all possible sights and attractions in the area.
Summarizing the above, my experience of staying at IFH farms and booking a trip by IFH was very pleasant and I can recommend it to everyone.

We are back in the USA and are recovering from the time change.
Our trip was wonderful and the weather was perfect. No rain.
All your accommodation and travel suggestions worked out as we had hoped and the hosts at each location were very welcoming.
Iceland is a wonderful place to visit and I'm sure a wonderful place to live, as well.
Now I must begin sorting my 800 photographs.

Our vacation was wonderful. The weather was perfect. We've seen puffins on Ingolfshöfdi, whales and dolphins in Husavik. My husband and I are going to riding on the back of iceland horses. This trip was great. Just 4 persons incl. us.
We've seen the most beautifull waterfalls, the geysir, many tongues of glaciers...- I think we've seen everythink we have to see for this short time that we spend on iceland. We hope that we come again, and than for a longer term.

I couldn’t resist writing at least a few (or more:)) words about our recent holiday in Iceland.
We had amazing time in your beautiful country.! And it’s not only because of a pristine nature, but also thank to you and IFH. We say in Poland that if someone is talking about you, your ears are itchy. I bet your ears were itchy quite often while we were in Iceland :) You booked our accommodation in great places. We would like to thank each of our host for hospitality, friendliness and help in making our daily agendas even more heavy but definitely memorable.
Oh, and thank you for the airport pick up – stress less beginning of our holiday!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for organizing our fantastic holiday! It was unforgettable and I’m sure we will come back again. It was impossible to see everything during one visit even though we have done 3300 km :)

I just got home from Iceland and I just wanted to let you and everyone at IFH how much fun I had. Iceland was everything I hoped for and so much more. It was an amazing, awe-inspiring country full of friendly and helpful people. Not once did I feel unwelcome or out of place. Me and my daughter Minna are very pleased with our vacation to Iceland. It was really successful.
Our hosts at hotels and guesthouses were so kind and helpful.
The views were great and we were lucky to have beautiful and warm weather as well.
The apartments exceeded all our expectations with the possibility of using for example computers and hot tubs free of charge. Also the assistance with reading maps and having tourist attraction hints were priceless.
All that said we are already concidering a new journey next year.

I just wanted to say that we really enjoyed our stay in Steinsstaðir - the views were amazing, the accommodation was very comfortable and the dinner was great. The lady's fish soup was the best we tasted on the whole trip! Iceland is a beautiful country with very friendly people and I am sure we will be back.

Your land is impressive like watching a film on the earth like it was one million years ago, but, however, accomodation was confortable and organisation perfect as you can expect in modern country.
Unfortunally we couldn't visit your office at Reykjavik due to lack of time;

We have now returned from our 12 days tour to Iceland, the 6th (1978, 1979, 1999, 2002, 2005 and 2009) and till now most successful!
The main reason of the success was your arrangement of stays in 8 out of 11 nights.
The difference between your various categories is not of remarkable size, though we liked of course having our own bath and toilet facilities (Categories III and IV). What was most impressive to us was the warm welcoming of the different hosts, which we enjoyed very much.

We're back from our trip now and I just wanted to thank you for all your assistance. Making all these arrangements via email made me a little nervous, as you could probably tell from all my questions over the past month or two, but everything went very smoothly. We found National easily and all the vouchers and maps were there, the car was great, and our accommodation at both farms, especially Steig, was wonderful.
I have to say that we were very impressed with Iceland, and truly hope to be able to visit again, next time for a longer period of time.

My girlfriend and I recently returned home after doing the Express Self-Drive around Iceland last week. We loved the south of the country from Selfoss to Höfn the most and our favourite site was Jökulsárlón. The airport pick up was great, especially after a long flight. The map and itinerary provided were very helpful as well. Before our trip, I appreciated the quick responses to emails and friendly attutide of the staff. I would definitely recommend Icelandic Farm Holidays to anyone going to Iceland.

Thank you for making our holidays in Iceland so special. We were captivated by the beauty and freshness of your country.
We drove Highway #1 from Reykjavik south to east to north to west, with a few short sidetrips along the way.
We have been telling everyone about the amazing variety of landscape, the friendliness of the people,
and the pure water and air of Iceland.
In general, we were pleased with the farms selected. We would certainly take this approach in any further trip.
We liked the opportunity to talk with local people on a personal basis, to get recommendations on local sighseeing
and restaurants, and each place offered an ample and delicious breakfast (so much so, that we usually skipped lunch).

We did the Highland & Coast trip and stayed at the Sunna Guesthouse
for a couple of days in Reykjavik at the beginning & end.
All of the farms were great! Clean, pleasant and comfortable.
We had a great dinner on the first, even though we hadn't booked it ahead of time.
The host graciously put a lovely dinner together for us.
Each farm was different from the one before & each had a special something.
Thank you again for your assistance & great organization.
Everything went completely smoothly and so we were able to enjoy
the fantastic scenery and hiking without any worries.

Having the trip pre-paid and having a voucher for payment each night was awesome. I

Being picked up at the hotel by the car rental was so convenient for us
since we were unfamiliear with the city.
